They belong to different cultures and lands. They lived in renaissance, revolutions, modernism, or are contemporaries. In some provocative takes, they may even ‘live’ and create in the future.
In some instances, these presentations were meant to bring them out of ‘obscurity’ and to stimulate others to read and learn more about them. In other cases, these stories reaffirm their undeniable place in the History of Art. But, most of all, through these presentations, we celebrate often-remarkable life stories of these women.
