Paper Games

Gel monotype printing, collage and mixed media

We are going to celebrate paper!

With its millennial history from papyrus, the first paper-like plant-based writing sheet in Egypt (4th Century BC), to the first true paper documented in China during the Eastern Han period (25–220 AD) it certainly deserves it. Documenting the history of humanity in written and symbolic languages and arts.

This project, as all our collective endeavors, will be multifaceted and multidisciplinary – 2D and 3D – multimedia and multimedium, where paper in all its forms, blank and written, soft and hard, photographed and painted on, will take a center stage.

‘Paper Games’ is our collective winter Art Olympics. The finish line – an installation for the BrainArt 2023, this year taking place in a beautiful and artsy city of Montreal!

We will catalogue our thematic ‘games’ as they emerge from instant inspirations, practicing workshops or targeted concepts. Rest assured, they will all come together in the end, in a meaningful installation celebrating (neuro)diversity.

Let the Games begin!
