Mind filler story
The series ‘Identity’ illustrates a search for one’s recognizable identity, personal, ethnic, and racial. The search is arduous, looking into mirrors and fighting blind spots. The path is uncertain and convoluted.
Could you define your own identity in a sentence or two – with clarity and precision? Perhaps words are not sufficient…are we more naturally defined by our physical appearance, gestures, mimics, images? Or something that can not be either told or observed?
Despite our enduring search, the true nature of an individual remains ambiguous – perhaps because dreams, fleeting desires, imprints of religion, culture, stereotypes, blind spots are not that easy to peel off…or because the ultimate clarity does not exist…unlike uniqueness. Or, a carousel of life.
