Galleries and exhibits
This collection of blogs and short presentation is a record of our visits to galleries and museums that moved us, were interesting from an architectural, historical or contemporary art point of view; some representing regional artists, some internationally renowned. Often, they capture a short overview of an inspiring artist showcasing in the exhibition of the day.
These gallery strolls are enriching our travels, blending into our understanding of local and universal culture and enhancing our relation to the history of arts. How can we not make a record, a snapshot, a short account of these encounters, and impressions?.
This new page is dedicated to our gallery strolls – sometimes they deserve a full blog or a short book, and sometimes they are sketchy presentations only, taken in a travel rush but inspired by the unexpected emotional connection, curiosity, unusual artist. It is a record of these visits, but it is equally a glimpse into a history of art, not always covered in books and retrospectives, viewed and experienced in the present moment of time, personal.
