Summer visit(s) to Rideau Ramble garden and Merickville art community fair have become regular for Hung and I. It is one of those leisurely summer outings that brings both joy and tranquility – rambling about garden grounds, discovering hidden leafy spots, unusual plants, and surprising garden inhabitants. There is a familiarity with this garden now, small chats with owners, Hunter the cat, and small cabin art studio. Yet, there is always something new, different vistas, rearranged statues and lanterns, a new fox peeking out under the bushy hide. Bringing a plant or two to home to embellish our own gardens.
